In the wake of the Ukrainian war, the W-Rise project, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program, aims to transform challenges into opportunities for Ukrainian refugee women and those with frailty.

Our Mission
W-Rise is dedicated to upskilling Ukrainian refugee women through sustainable and digital entrepreneurship learning pathways. With a project duration of 30 months, ending in May 2026, we are committed to providing the necessary competencies and opportunities for these women to thrive in the entrepreneurial world.

- Develop Interest and Motivation: Encourage Ukrainian refugee women to engage in sustainable and digital entrepreneurship as a means of self-employment and a tool for post-conflict reconstruction.
- Skill Development: Equip these women with the essential skills to start and manage sustainable, digital, and future-proof businesses.
- Facilitate Access and Inclusion: Through innovative and digital teaching tools, we aim to make adult education more accessible and inclusive for our target audience.
- Introduce Innovative Recognition Tools: Use modern methods, such as Open Badges, to recognize and validate the competencies acquired through our program.
Activities and Expected Outcomes
W-Rise is structured around key activities, including awareness campaigns, co-creation of courses, piloting of project results, and the establishment of a supportive network for continuous learning and sharing. Our outcomes include:
- A comprehensive course on digital and green entrepreneurship.
- A compendium of success stories from women entrepreneurs.
- Innovative tools, such as a Gamification Toolkit, for adult educators.
- The W-Rise network, connecting participants with stakeholders and experts in the field.
